Boch Center’s City Spotlights Summer Leadership Program (SUMMER - PAID)

·         City Spotlights Summer Leadership Program is a 6-week summer employment program  that will hire up to 60 Teen Leaders, specializing in an area of the performing arts (dance, music, or acting) to use the arts for social change in their communities. ·         Teen Leaders will work collaboratively to create an original educational performance to be presented at the Shubert Theatre, as well as and arts-based workshop on a social justice topic that will tour to different community sites in the city for a week during the summer. This Way Ahead (Spring & Summer – PAID ) - Last Info Session Ends on Tuesday February 19 th ·         This Way Ahead (TWA) is a PAID job readiness and internship program for youth age 16-24 in partnership with Gap Inc. and Boston Housing Authority.  ·         Students are paid to attend job readiness workshops twice/week and eligible students then apply to work at Gap, Old Navy, and Banana Republic stores for the summer.    ·         For students ages 16-24. Must be 16 years old by May 13, 2019.  Priority is given to those who are Boston Housing Authority residents or BHA Section 8 voucher holders. ·         Beginning in March, students attend PAID interactive job readiness classes twice a week in the afternoon/evening for 16 weeks. GRLZ Radio (February Vacation - UNPAID) – Deadline: Friday February 14th

GRLZ Radio is excited to host another session of G.R.I.T. (GRLZ Radio Intensive Training) during February vacation  program for girls ages  10-13 only!  During this week-long intensive, girls will gain leadership, public speaking, teamwork, and creative writing skills, as they are trained by radio and music professionals, to host and produce their own radio shows!  At the end of this fun-filled week, girls will have completed 4-7 quality radio shows that can be enjoyed live on our website or later via Soundcloud account.
