Peer Leadership Institute (PLI) (February Vacation - PAID) – Deadline is Friday January 25th


Check out this PAID opportunity over February vacation with the Boston Public Health Commission.  The opportunity is for 8th and 9th grade students only. PLI trains and supports high school students to become role models and leaders who promote positive behavior change in their schools and home communities. Grounded in youth development principles, the program prepares young people to be peer leaders in health promotion and public health practice.

When: Tuesday February 19th- Friday February 22nd (over February vacation)

Where: The Peer Leadership Institute - 725 Massachusetts Avenue, Boston, MA 02118
(from Mass Ave station – Orange Line – take the #1 Bus and get off after 2 stops at Harrison Avenue)
Hours: 9:00am - 3:00pm
Wage: $200 stipend upon completion of the program
What Does the Day Look Like?  Students will be participating in interactive, team focused, and educational workshops focused on building leaderships skills, sexual health, and how to design and facilitate a workshop.
