New England Baptist Hospital. The Meredith Cameron Youth Opportunity Internship Program



Paid summer internship that runs 6-10 weeks for high-school and college students. This year, the program will accept up to 16 applications for 7-8 internship positions. 2 of these application spaces will be specifically for a Tech Apprentice students.   

Applications must be submitted by Wednesday May 9th to Career Specialists

A. Program Details
1. The program is 9 weeks for high school students (7/2-8/31) and 10 weeks for college students (6/25-8/31)
2. High school students will be paid $12 per hour; college students will be paid $13
4. Students must be City of Boston Residents but preferably live in the Roxbury, South End, Mission Hill, and Jamaica Plain neighborhoods*
5. Students must be at least 16 years of age or a college freshman or sophomore
6. Students must be able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week for the duration of the program

**NEBH has a tobacco free policy requiring all individuals who have been offered a job at NEBH to take a nicotine test during their pre-employment screening process. The tobacco free policy is an addition to existing pre-employment screening measures. Offers of positions to prospective employees who test positive for nicotine or drugs will be rescinded. **

B. Application Submission
Applications must be submitted to Career Specialists by Wednesday, May 9th

        3) Resume
