National Parks – Branching Out Program




  Are you interested in gaining experience in landscape stewardship? Do you enjoy spending time outdoors and like the idea of exploring National Parks? If so, our staff is interested in hearing from you! During the program, participants will:
                                                             
Explore subjects related to the environment, tree care, plant science, carpentry, and masonry.
   
Participate in training workshops including plant ID, tree climbing, creating potting soil, 
propaga¬tion, and composting.
                                                          
Develop public speaking and leadership skills.

Contribute to indoor/outdoor field projects.
                                                            
Recreate outside by hiking, snowshoeing, and more!


Schedule: 6-10 hours per week; October – April
Ages: 15+ years old
 Wage: $12 an hour
