JOB DESCRIPTION


The Patios Ambassadors 
This position is located at City Hall Plaza, in the heart of Boston. 
This position will service The Patios on City Hall Plaza. The Patios, is a unique outdoor venue offering Boston's only 'private patios' in a public space. The Patios is part of Boston Seasons presented by Berkshire Bank's year-round activations on City Hall Plaza. This Boston Spring and Summer installation will include private patios, Wachusett Brewing Company beer garden and more! 

 Responsibilities include: 

 Assist with operations of all special programming on The Patios including mini golf, electric grilling and more. 
 Assist in routine maintenance of the area to ensure overall cleanliness 
 Champion and promote The Patios brand by demonstrating expertise in service delivery, problem resolution and overall knowledge 
 Liaise with all event staff and departments to implement cultural aspects and standards of guest experience and providing the ultimate guest experience 
 Greet and escort guests with special circumstances 
 Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications: 

 Excellent guest service skills 
 Self-motivated relationship builder with a positive, outgoing, friendly, eager to please demeanor 
 Multi-task at a high level while maintaining a positive and upbeat attitude 
 Ability to work with and interact with number of different people and personalities 
 Embrace change and think quickly on feet 
 Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays 
 Proficiency with computers, email (Microsoft Outlook), able to use SMS texting tools and use two way radios 
 Strong knowledge of social media channels including Snapchat, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram a plus 
 Must be able to push and escort guests in wheelchairs and lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation. 
 Strong customer orientation, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, commitment to company core values 

Other Details 
Hours:  Monday-Friday: 11am-3pm 
 Saturday: 12pm-4pm 
 Sunday: 12pm-4pm 

Pay Rate: $11 per hour 
Start Date: Friday, May 4, 2018 
End Date: Friday, August 30, 2018
